Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"An absolute gem. One of the best fish ball, fish cake and fish paste noodles. Ingredients are fresh and service is ultra fast. No matter how crowded you'll be served with food within 5 mins. Soup based is delicious, a little strong but not overpowering. It's made of fish bones, anchovies and tung choy. Served with lettuce to balance the overall taste. Fishballs and fishcakes are all hand made, bouncy in texture and flavourful as they're stuffed with spring onions."
"Great value for the portion. Tastes great and comes out hot. Vast menu for the prices. Friendly staff and super fast kitchen. The fishball noodle soup is that good you will come back for more. Their fried fish cake are really fresh and delicious. Tables are clean though the washrooms need work. Many fans to keep the place cool though it can get hot."
"Came here twice with my husband. First time came we ordered the fishball noodles, fish cake and fu chuk, fishcake was excellent and juicy for us. The fishball is springy and delicious. This time we ordered the glass noodles and hor fun with fishball, the onion fish cake we ordered also tasted good but we preferred the fish cake we ordered the first time we came. The fishball noodles goes well with the hor fun. They’re quite generous on the noodle portion. Another plus point is that there is aircon here so is suitable to bring your baby here especially on a hot day. This is one of the best fish ball noodle place in Kepong better than You fishball noodles in my personal opinion."
"I'm surprised with the low rating for the rare find and good quality of fish balls you can ever get these days! These handmade fish balls are soft yet bouncy and simply delicious. Added fu chok with fish paste to my fish head noodles and they were so good that the fish paste in it was thick and yummy. Fish head was ling yu which was equally tasty and big portion. Anchovies are used to make their soup so it's definitely healthier and tastier. Curry laksa was quite good but doesn't taste like the usual ones, not thick but not bad. Will try their fish cake next round. They do sell raw fish balls, vege fish balls and fish cake that you can add to your homecook noodles too. We arrived around 2.45pm, many seats available at the air-conditioned room and the non AC room. Fast serving and good kopi c too Easy get parking at this time too. Will definitely be back."
"Read awesome food review about this homemade fishball that caught my attention. I had their standard 'meehoon kuey teow kon low' rice vermicelli rice sheet noodle in dark sauce and my friend had a 'lou sui fun' rat tail noodle soup where both came with fishball and beancurd roll. I was really delicious, fishball was fresh in taste, silky soft. My noodle was so well mixed and so tasty. I ordered a delicious plate of green onion fried fish cake. The eating experience here is pretty awesome and we love it Twin Kee Homemade Fish Ball Noodle Soup 47-G, Jalan Development Taman Kepong 52100 Kuala Lumpur"
"Had the fried fish meat noodles in fis head noodle broth. Added a bowl of fish balls - these were plump and awesome. I sat in the non air-cond dining area to enjoy my meal 'old school'. The air-con dining area next door is next level. Will revisit."
"Delicious meal at reasonable prices in a comfortable environment. Well done boss! Will repeat."
"Ordered the dry noodle which comes with a bowl of soup and some fish balls. It was alright. Nothing to shout about but the fried fish cake was excellent. Didn't manage to take picture cuz we were busy eating. The fried fish cake was juicy. We also ordered the fried fu chok and it was crispy and comes with thick fish paste. Both were freshly fried. We prefer both fried dishes than the fish ball soup. The aunty responsible for taking order is friendly. Oh yes, do try out their homemade fried bananas at the counter. We preferred the sweet one and whack it within 1 hour. Parking can be a hassle."
